Applications (cover letter, CV and transcripts) should be sent by 
e-mail to recruiting@oleto.com.

Please remember to enclose ALL transcripts from both high school, bachelor's and master's degrees the first time you send your application. Applications received without the full set of transcripts are more likely to be rejected and you might miss your chance to join us.
 
We also require that you indicate your grade point average (GPA) on your CV for each single education/degree.
When indicating your GPA, please use the format: [Your GPA] out of [Top Grade], e.g., GPA 9.5 out of 12, 3.8 out of 4.0 or GPA 9.5/12, GPA 3.8/4.0.


The interviews


After having reviewed your application we might call you in for the first interview round, which would include meeting at least two of our consultants. During these interviews we will get a chance to mutally get to know each other and you will have the opportunity to demonstate your thinking around a few cases which mirror the typical business problems we work on.

Each interview is typically divided into three parts: (1) Oleto Associates & the management consulting profession, (2) Your profile and aspirations and (3) Interactive problem solving around a current or past case. 

As preparation for point (1) we encourage you to think about potential questions you might have about Oleto Associates and working in management consulting. For point (2) it is a good idea for you to think about past examples where you demonstrated good problem solving skills as well as try to summarize your motivation for why you would like to join our team. To prepare yourself for point (3) we advise that you familiarize yourself with case interviews in general and practice a few cases using resources on the internet (e.g., Vault.com, Wetfeet.com) or a colleague you trust. Remember cases are a fun and engaging way to both learn and demonstrate your thinking and ideas without necessarily solving every issue of the problem you are given.

If succesful at the first interview round you will be passed on to the final and second round. 


What we look for

We evaluate candidates around five qualification criteria. Based on your academic results, your application, your work experience, the interviews and extra curricular activities we look for:

  • Problem solving skills, e.g., ability to structure oral and written work, ability to think conceptually, comfort with manually performing simple calculations, practical sense, and business acumen

  • Communication and other interpersonal skills, e.g., language, listening, questioning, spelling, team work

  • Interest in Oleto Associates, e.g., ability to articulate what you find interesting about the position and the management consulting profession

  • Knowledge, e.g., relevance of the subject matter expertise you have acquired through prior work experience (mostly for experienced candidates)

  • Drive & direction, e.g., ability to get things done and influence others to follow you
